Who We Are

Woodbridge Quay Church was formed when Quay United Reformed Church merged with Beaumont Baptist Church. We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, and the Evangelical Alliance.

We meet for contemporary worship every Sunday morning at 10:30am. You can learn about what to expect at our services and see a list of sermon titles on our Services page.

Our Co-Ministers

One of our ministers is Rev. Mark Hardingham BD(Hons). Mark is married to Janet and they have two adult children, Chaz and Katie. Mark trained at Spurgeon's College, London. Prior to that he worked for one of the UK's leading banks. Mark has been our minister since 2005.


We have House Groups for sharing fellowship with a few others in a comfortable situation. There are both daytime and evening groups. Our Parent and Toddler group is called Skipper's Nippers and meets weekly in term-time. Men's and Ladies' groups meet for breakfasts and, occasionally, other events. Our Co-Ministers

Our other minister is Rev. Doug Waller. Doug is married to Charlie and they have two young children, Rosie, 2, and Bethany who is a newborn. Doug trained at Spurgeon's College, London. Prior to that he worked as a teacher of Religious Studies and Philosophy in a secondary school. Doug became our minister in Sept 2016.

News and Events

Closure of Quay Street

Quay Street will be closed to through traffic from 15th March for about 6 weeks whilst the overhead power lines are replaced with underground cables. Vehicle access should be available on Sundays from one end or the other for dropping off elderly or infirm worshippers.

Compassion Sunday

Join us during the service on Sunday 23rd April at Woodbridge Quay Church to learn more about God's heart for the poor and how you can make a real and eternal difference by releasing a child from poverty in Jesus' name with Compassion.

Prayer and Praise

Our next Prayer and Praise Evening is Wednesday 26th April in the Sanctuary. Tea and coffee from 7:30pm, worship at 8:00.

Coffee Morning

The church will be open for all to drop in for coffee and cake on Saturday 27th May between 10:00am and 12:00noon. There will be toys for the little ones.

Away Days with OARs

Our Active Retirees will have their annual week of outings from 11th to 16th June. Sign up soon.

Walk Through The Bible
